ALPHA KAPPA PSI
THE PREMIER CO-ED BUSINESS FRATERNITY
A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Hello Active Brothers and Potential New Members,
On behalf of the brothers of the Omega Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Pepperdine University, I would like to formally welcome you to our chapter. Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest professional co-ed Business Fraternity in the world. Our chapter, here at Pepperdine, prioritizes a strong sense of brotherhood and unity and puts a prominent emphasis on professional development.
I joined Alpha Kappa Psi during my first semester of college, Fall 2021, and since then it has left me with precious memories to last a lifetime. Being able to become a brother in this fraternity has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life and I can only hope that your Alpha Kappa Psi experience will be just as impactful.
After joining the fraternity, I came to realize that many of the typical greek organization stereotypes do not apply to our chapter. If anything, Alpha Kappa Psi has not only provided me with a welcoming and sincere community full of friends that I wouldn’t have been able to meet otherwise, but also with skills and experiences that can only be gained through the professional and alumni events that Alpha Kappa Psi offers. Every lesson and experience that I have been able to obtain from this chapter has never failed to teach me something profound and beneficial for my life. I would love to see Alpha Kappa Psi doing that for all of you as well.
One of the most unique aspects of Alpha Kappa Psi, which I believe adds to our continued success and sets us apart from other business fraternities, is the fact that we are open to all majors. Our chapter proudly emphasizes our focus on diversity and inclusion, which allows for each of our members to contribute their own special skills and experiences to the fraternity. Our emphasis on diversity has led us to have an extensive alumni network. Many of our alumni are pursuing graduate degrees across the world as well as working with notable companies such as the Walt Disney Company, Yelp, Citi, JP Morgan, Twitter, NBC Universal, and more!
With that being said, I am excited to see how Alpha Kappa Psi will end up shaping your future! As someone who has been a part of the fraternity for three years and now having the privilege to serve as President, I have not only seen the active brothers grow, but was also able to see immense growth within myself. I am so grateful to be put in a position where I can now share all that I have learned, as a guide, to both the active body and potential new members. From the time when I first joined the fraternity and to now as President, I am extremely happy to say that I’ve seen nothing but continuous growth from our chapter. I couldn’t be more honored to represent such a dedicated and genuine group of people.
So, why not us? Will you take the step towards the rest of your life?
Best,
Rachel Kwon

What is Alpha Kappa Psi?
Alpha Kappa Psi is the world's oldest and largest professional business fraternity. Established in 1904, the Founding Fathers, also known as the "Brooklyn Four," created an association founded on the principles of educating its members and the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals in business and to further the individual welfare of members during college and beyond.
Since then, the fraternity has expanded to include over 250,000 lifetime members from 216 chapters throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Canada. Recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders, Alpha Kappa Psi continuously strives to build a strong bond of brotherhood and foster lifelong learning amongst its members.
Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on providing ethical leadership and professional development. Through educational programs, community service, and hands-on-application of formal education, Alpha Kappa Psi students use the business skills they are taught in the classroom to acquire life skills such as the art of compromise, consensus building, project management, interviewing, and networking.
