Hello Active Brothers and Potential New Members,

On behalf of the brothers of the Omega Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Pepperdine University, I would like to formally welcome you to our chapter. As a part of the oldest and largest professional co-ed Business Fraternity in the world, our chapter prioritizes strong brotherhood and unity and a commitment to professional development.

I joined Alpha Kappa Psi in my first semester of college, Fall 2021, meaning this organization was the first I joined during my time at Pepperdine University. Becoming a brother in this fraternity has been one of the most impactful experiences of my life, and I hope this experience can apply to anyone else who is reading this.

Since joining, I have learned that the greek stereotype of “paying for friends” is inapplicable to this organization. While I have made friends who I would not have met without this organization, the skills which are taught through Alpha Kappa Psi’s professional development events are unmatched by any other organization on campus. Every aspect of this chapter that I have been able to experience in my time here has done nothing except benefit me and help me excel toward my goals, and I would love to see it benefit you as well!

The ability for Alpha Kappa Psi to be as prosperous as possible is rooted in our identity, that of being open to all majors. Priding ourselves on diversity and inclusion, not only physically but also ideally, allows for all members to become active participants in our community. Being this diverse has led us to have an extensive alumni network, with alumni pursuing graduate degrees across the world as well as working with the Walt Disney Company, Yelp, Citi, JP Morgan, Twitter, NBC Universal, and more!

With that being said, I want to offer you all the challenge to shape your future now! From stepping onto campus and beginning my term as president of the Omega Epsilon chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi only 18 months later, I’ve had an opportunity to see myself grow, and now I want to see everyone else grow. I am thankful to be in a position where I can be a guide to those in need of finding that extra step to begin their professional development. From my time as a Potential New Member to having the honor of being the President of the Omega Epsilon chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, I have seen exponential growth in myself and brothers.

So, why not us? Will you take the step towards the rest of your life?

What is Alpha Kappa Psi?

Alpha Kappa Psi is the world's oldest and largest professional business fraternity. Established in 1904, the Founding Fathers, also known as the "Brooklyn Four," created an association founded on the principles of educating its members and the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals in business and to further the individual welfare of members during college and beyond.

Since then, the fraternity has expanded to include over 250,000 lifetime members from 216 chapters throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and Canada. Recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders, Alpha Kappa Psi continuously strives to build a strong bond of brotherhood and foster lifelong learning amongst its members.

Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on providing ethical leadership and professional development. Through educational programs, community service, and hands-on-application of formal education, Alpha Kappa Psi students use the business skills they are taught in the classroom to acquire life skills such as the art of compromise, consensus building, project management, interviewing, and networking.
